Larry Brown, CEO
GPDS’ CEO Larry Brown has over 30 years of experience in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) of major industrial construction projects. His extensive knowledge includes: Contracts (Planning, Formation, Administration, and Closeout of both Prime and Subcontracts), Contract Claims and successful negotiations, Executive Operations and Project Management, Business Development, Ethics & Compliance, and Financial Operations.
During his career, Mr. Brown has lived in the U.S., Eastern Europe, South America, Australia, and the Middle East, and worked in a multicultural environment on projects/proposals in more than ten countries. Mr. Brown also has participated in many Capital Cost Reduction workshops that have led to significant cost and schedule improvements on behalf of client/owners to major projects that include: Contractual KPI’s, Damages, Six Sigma, Schedule Sequencing and Optimization, Risk management and Pricing, Insurance, Modularization, Pre-fabrication, and Negotiations for Cost Recovery. He has been involved in the development of multibillion dollar projects around the world in a variety of different business lines including: Mining & Metals, Power, Infrastructure, US Federal Government, and Oil & Gas industries.
Tim Dyhr, VP Business Development
Timothy M. Dyhr has 40 years of experience in mining, including gold, copper, limestone, and bentonite projects. He has been engaged in Nevada mining since 1983 and has a 30-year history of involvement with the Nevada Mining Association. He served as an Executive Board Member from 2015-2021 and was the Chairman in 2018–2019. His long and varied experience in mining includes project development from exploration to construction and commissioning to reclamation and closure. Mr. Dyhr’s background makes him qualified to guide clients in taking advantage of the wide range of commercial services that GPDS has to offer.
At GPDS our goal is to assist clients in delivering mining projects on time and under budget. We use a comprehensive, detail-oriented approach to develop solutions that maximize return on investment for the owner. Mr. Dyhr’s background of involvement in every stage of mining construction and capital allows him to understand the challenges that our clients face, how to help them assess their needs, and provide them with solutions from the extensive expertise of our team.
